Our story
The Net Zero Lawyers Alliance (NZLA) was established ahead of COP26 to mobilise commercial law firms, lawyers and the law to accelerate the transition to net zero. Since then, the NZLA has been pivotal in positioning commercial law firms to help their clients reduce their emissions and build climate resilience, in turn supporting the global transition.
Today, our membership includes over 40 member firm across 40+ jurisdictions. The NZLA is committed to leveraging the collective expertise of our membership to systematically unblock legal barriers and use the law to accelerate the transition to net zero. The NZLA also supports capacity building across the legal profession to better enable legal services that align with net zero.
